ack! The British are Coming!!
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: British comedy
Topic: bits and pieces

(dedicated to Kab, my younger brother...)
[edit- for the "Now Playing" line- it's not "As Time Goes By", but it is actually, "Thin Blue Line"- there, that should fix things somewhat.

and the original title was to be Dead Daiko Day until Kab inspired me with the idea for the current one. ^-^;; ...]

-actually, that title has to do with the odd fact that I tend to pick up a bit of an accent when I watch (or at least, am around) television shows- more specifically, British comedy.

ack! -I don't like it how I don't seem to have any control of this either- ick!

****
Anyways, I'm glad to say that I've returned to getting myself to write properly in my physical journal again- I may post a copy to this blog, or not- as of now, I am not exactly sure.

****
-for today... normal life I mean,
it was pretty unadventurous, I went out with my brother to the library to get some work done and it looks like we've both made much progress with regards to our schoolwork- and I'm quite happy about that ^_^

(uh, that's not all though...)

[****
oh yeah, the episode is "Alternative Culture"
-it's funny, yet odd. ...]

good night.

-Daiko~
(pray for us
and I wish to pray for you~)

don't be surprised if I'm silent
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: *sounds of younger brother*
Topic: hiatus?

at least, for a little while.

I think that I'll be going on hiatus for a small period of time- it's not that I don't have anything further to say, it's just that I have not been posting lately and I've been finding it harder to do so.

so, don't be too surprised.

-strangely, typing this entry does make me want to take up regular blogging again, interesting isn't it? -yet, I still need to get back on track with regards to other things, especially with keeping up with my responsibilities and helping out my beloved younger brother, and I so miss writing to God in my primary [physical] journal. ;_;

anyways, pray for me
I will be praying for you [more so, because I want to] in the future.

-Daiko~
(pray for my brother too,
he says that he needs aid in having self-control.)

I am a hurricane? (yay!? boo?) and other things~
Mood:  quizzical
Now Playing: people typing in the library.
Topic: bits and pieces

What Natural Disaster are you? Take the quiz!

yeah, right... (silly online quizzes!)

****
Anyways, I tried to sign up for Netrulon a few seconds ago, but I ran into some problems (which are my own fault)*- I think I'll be fine though, and once I get hosted, I can review the service and talk about it- yay? more free webhosting! [the free server.com]

****
^_^ ...ah, happy things!

Today at my college, there was a festival (which lasted only a few hours: 10:00a-1:00p) it was pretty nice! -I enjoyed having some delicious free ethnic foods with my friends, and with my little brother too~ (hmm, I'd talk about the rest of the experience, but I don't know how I should go about that- I think that this is a decent start for now...)

****
(yes, I know this journal entry is a bit nonsensical, but this is in the topic "bits and pieces" because I've placed my thoughts in here in a bit of a jumble)

I found something quite interesting: a news article on the possiblity of watching TV on your mobile phone and so, I wonder what this will do for people... my first thought is that people will start to use their phones more and more (and I am hoping that they'll start to stay away from the big tv in the family/living room in general and move about more... that could be good and bad though... hmm~)

(oh yay. -more phone annoyance. I can just imagine someone watching football on their phone in the middle of a crowded area... or something similar to that. o.o! )

-any thoughts on this?

----
*I hit the back button on my browser during sign up since I had made an error with my subdomain name- I had wanted to fix that but I didn't know that that would be a problem. o.0;; ...I e-mailed support about that so I think that this will be rectified soon, and if not, I'll try e-mailing the other address for support.

(pray for me)

my online pastime: looking for good hosting!
Mood:  not sure
Topic: resources
I found something interesting while searching around a bit for free [as well as nice paid] hosting:

Icanx hosting.com
this site has a nice deal of life time hosting much like another site offers, but icanx offers this for a lot less! -so this is really good! (-personally, I would go for the $99 package, but that's just me... wow! one whole gig of space!! I like this! )

The Battle against Pettiness
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: sanctify~

-sigh-
-sad isn't it? how people get stuck in their same irritations over such little things... I am guilty of this, as well as others that I know (who I won't mention for now)

but we're intelligent beings, aren't we?
-and we know what's good for us and what's not?
-and what's right and what's wrong, but then again, knowledge alone doesn't save anyone...

so what does this mean for me or for other people for that matter?

I know that I fight against this (and don't always win- sometimes I have resentment and anger over things that are really insignificant and petty) -sigh- it's not pretty. I feel sorry for my little brother, he faces this too, but I don't know if he's taking the right course of action...

we need to deal with and bear our problems well
not to complain and whine (I'm not saying that this is what he always does, I'm saying that this is something to avoid- yuck, I do this sometimes too- I don't want to though. ick!)

-often we make our problems seem worse than they truly are by complaining about them and wishing for things to be the way we want them to be.

I know I can deal with things even if the situation isn't ideal, and I've been through many stressful and irritating things- why haven't I gotten better at dealing with them? -Actually, I take that back, I have improved some... I will pray that I continue to do so, and for my beloved little brother to do the same- and I'll pray for you too.

-Daiko~
(just wanted to get this thought out,
and I still could use lots and lots of prayer.)
(I could clarify this, but I'm going to eat dinner now- I think I'll be cooking chicken for tomorrow's meals... yum!)

HTML and other things (like setting up an OP board)
Mood:  accident prone
Now Playing: good Christian music in background (can't recall title of the song I'm hearing- I know it though...)
Topic: adventures!
(hah ha! -longest "now playing" line ever!- or not...?
small EDIT: it really didn't fit, but I found out that the song was "This World has Nothing for Me" or at least, that's what I think that the title is.)

woo...

it's been a bit tedious for me, I've been setting up a website over at ifreepages.com and trying to get an Oekaki Poteto board to work under my account there- it hasn't been easy for me (I want to get up a review of my time at that place- I could recommend some other places to be better- ^^;; ...)

****
Anyways, get ready for an update folks- more specifically, I am going to change my simple page from being a very blue simple hand-coded HTML-only page, I am going to use a nice template [which makes use of lovely div layers] instead! -woo hoo!

I am learning to make wonderful webpages
(and div layers, I love you~~~!)

...

if you don't know what I'm talking about, that's okay- don't mind me. ^_^;;

****
slightly bigger EDIT: I found a nice oekaki today- http://www.affl.xc2.de/ I'll be visiting more often in the fututre.

-Daiko~
(the last of the simple blue pages!
...I think I'll screenshot my index and updates page before I change everything though- yeah.)
