MIDLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

As a member of the Midland County Planning Commission, Kyle brought fresh ideas to position Midland County for success.

Midland County Planning Commissioner Kyle Nothstine (R-Ingersoll Twp.) has announced his candidacy for the Midland County Commission to represent residents of the fourth district. The fourth district includes Ingersoll, Mount Haley, and Midland townships, as well as part of the City of Midland.

“Midland County continues to be a great place to live and work,” said Nothstine. “While serving on the County Commission, I will take common-sense steps to protect the quality of our communities by improving Midland County government efficiency and responsiveness; protecting homeowners from high property taxes; creating new opportunities for job growth; and responsibly protecting our environment.”

The fourth district is currently represented by Jim Stamas (R-Midland). Stamas is not seeking re-election to the commission and is, instead, running for State Representative.

“Jim Stamas has been an effective leader for our community,” said Nothstine. “I look forward to building upon his leadership to improve the quality of Midland County government and better deliver services to our residents.”
