Koji is Tasuki`s best friend and shared with him the leadership of the Mount Reikaku Bandits. They know each other for a long time. Koji was already a member of the bandits when Tasuki joined them. He knows him under the name "Genro" and always calls him that.

Koji is a nice guy most of the time, but as a bandit, he also has no problem to act very brutal with people. To him there`s no difference between men and women, an enemy is an enemy. He is a talented sword fighter, but his most effective weapons are his fists. He has the strange habit to talk to himself, using different voices.

Koji's Seishi Sign means "Turtle snout", and is located on his left forearm. He is dedicated to Byakko.
