This is Peter, our guide for a hike at Valley Forge. He is dressed in the Continental Army's more practical summer outfit. Rather than the traditional image of the blue overcoat, we see a lighter, more breathable linen hunting shirt and trousers. The gun is a reproduction British "Brown Bess" musket.
