Your assignment is to research the historical, social and political climate during the time Invisible Man was written. At the completion of your research you will come together as a class to create a study guide of your choice dedicated to making this invisible man visible.
Your research will manifest itself in two parts. The first will be factual historical accounts of events, people, and places. The second will be making correlations between these events, people and places to the novel itself. To bring this project to fruition you will have to work dilligently as an individual and as a solid team. Consequently your grade will be broken up evenly between your individual and group effort.
