United Kennel Club's DNA Seals

The Certificate of DNA Analysis will also display a special UKC DNA-P seal. If a dog’s parentage has been verified by comparing the dog’s DNA profile with the DNA profiles of its parents, that dog’s Certificate of DNA Analysis will contain a special UKC DNA-VIP seal. These seals and the DNA-P or DNA-VIP designations may be used when advertising profiled dogs.

Mandatory DNA Profiling

The American Rare Breed Mi-Ki Registry requires all individual Mi-Kis, to be DNA profiled through the UKC. The individual Mi-Kis sire and dam are also required to be DNA profiled. The ARBMR requires DNA on all Mi-Kis to the ensure the integrity of ARBMR records.
