Where's the Plan Pete?

Pete Schmitt spends his time and energy complaining about the Democrats and the Souzzi administration and demands that years of republican fiscal incompetence be fixed overnight. What we ask of Pete is a viable detailed plan for the fiscal stability of Nassau County. So far all we've gotten is worn-out rhetoric and vague statements. Here we track Pete's movements waiting and hoping he will one day present his grand plan. Maybe one less photo-op will give him the time to write his plan down. We shall not hold our breath.

April 2003

Pete helps open a gift shop.... a plan would be a great gift for us.

A Civic Association meeting, a photo-op but still no plan

Pete writes another letter to the editor and again offers nothing.

Pete does his meet and greet again but still fails to offer a plan. He ought to give his photographer a break.

Pete meets Intel Semi-Finalists. Presenting a fiscal plan is NOT rocket science.

Pete visits with senior citizens on Valentines Day. Hey Pete, why don't you be a sweetheart and give us your plan?

Pete celebrates Mardi Gras with senior citizens. Pete, I'll give you some beads if you give us your plan.

Pete wishes retires well ... WE wish he'd present his plan.

Pete writes a column for the Long Island Press. In the time he typed that full page of empty rhetoric, Pete could have written up an outline of his wonderful plan.

Pete announces county Pothole Hotline. Forgets to announce his plan.

February 2003

Pete honors some Pastors. We'd be honored if he showed us his plan.

Pete responds angrily and untruthfully to a letter writer with more rhetoric and empty statements. The letter writer asked for a plan and Pete spent his time bashing the Democrats.

Pete warns about carbon monoxide, doesn't warn us about his lack of real work for the county.

January 2003

Pete remembers Pearl Harbor. Someday he will remember to tell us what he plans to do to help the county.

Pete waits for Santa. Meanwhile all we want for christmas is his plan. Instead we get coal... and this picture.

Pete delivers yet another proclamation. One day he will proclaim his glorious plan to us and it will be a day of thanksgiving.

Pete makes a TV appearance on Meet the Leaders. He does not take the opportunity to be a leader and present a detailed and viable plan.
