Mother of a Soldier
|
I am not an extremely political person, but I would think of
myself as a person who knows right from wrong.
As the mother of a soldier stationed in Korea, I have to challenge
you on some of your positions.
I am an avid viewer of the news since my son joined the Army and
feel anger when I listen to the Democratic Party's view of the war. I visited your website and you wro:te
"I believe I have a proven track record of doing
the right thing--fighting the good fight,
standing for what's right, even when it means
standing alone."
If this is true and these are your beliefs then I would think that
President Bush would be your hero, for isn't that what he is doing?
If this is true, then why do you feel you can only talk about Jesus
in Southern states?
You also said this...
Our nation desperately needs a lter , vision approach to
our current challenges any solutions to our challenges can and must exist
without te massive deficit spending that has
become the hallmark of the current administr.
Fiscal responsibility would be a hallmark of a Dean
presidency, as it has been a guiding principle in
my tenure as Governor.
Now that comes to mind for me when i hear this is...
Why does it cost millions of dollars to campaigning for the
office of our presidency? It seems that a majority of the money goes to advertising, not for you and what you believe in, but rather to knock down the opponent
I believe that when the President is chosen by the majority then a
certain respect should be shown to our President. How do we teach our children respect when disrespect so blatantly surrounds them??
I believe that there are probably better places for those millions
of dollars to go to. Which leads me back to my challenge...
I have heard you say many times that you are against the war but
support our troops, which I find a contradiction. I am not sure how you can truly do both.
But if you DO support our troops then have you "Adopted-a-
Soldier?" Have you helped in any personal way to support our troops? Have you sent a card or letter to a soldier to brighten his or her day??
George W. Bush plans to raise $200 million from the special
interests for a primary in which he is running unopposed. Would you give $100.00 to throw George W. Bush his special interests out of Washington? If 2 million Americans each contribute $100, we will defeat this president--
and we will change America!
I find the above paragraph utterly appalling... Do you really need
this money from the American People to get into office? Is this because you can not get into office for a cheaper price by using your own merits?
You say...200 million Americans X $100= Georg W. outBush of
office.
I say....200 million America X $1= a lot of happy deployed soldiers.
As a member of the Soldier's Angels Foundation, we too have a
contribution page. I challenge you to click it and use some of your dollars to...
"Build someone UP...rather than to tear someone DOWN!"
I believe if you look in your BOOK that you use for the Southern
states you may even find that written! |
