Specialist, Professor in a University, 30s, easy-going, identified early signs. Intellgent but green. The main character in this movie.
Actor Bio:
AARON ECKHART(Dr Josh Keyes) earned considerable acclaim co-starring with julia roberts in "Erin Brockovich" for director Steven Soderbergh. Most recently, he completed his production in "Possession", oppositing another Hollywood leading actoress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Major Rebecca Childs
Character Bio:
Pilot. Brilliant, capable, professional, sense quiet concern about ability. Fearless, powerful, completely able to assume strong leadership possition if problem arise.
Actor Bio:
Hilary Swank(Major Rebecca Childs) is best known for her role as Brandon Teena in "boys don't cry", the critically-acclaim firm for which swank won the 1999 academy award for best actoress along with 19 more awards prizes from many critics.
Swank recently starred in Christopher Nolan's "insomnia" opposite AI Pacino and Robin Williams, and as Comtesse Jeanna de la Motte-Valois in "Affair of the Necklace".

Dr Serge Leveque
Character Bio:
Atomic Specialist, minder of the cargo, brilliant, 40 family man, close with Keyes, will not accept failure, emotionally center of the crew.
Actor Bio:
Tcheky Karyo(Dr Serge Leveque) recently appeared in "Kiss of the Dragon", written by Luc Besson, who directed Karyo in "The Messenger: The Joan of the Arc Story" and "La Femme Nikita". Karyo had also appeared in "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson, "Wing Commander", "My life so far", "Addicted to love", "Golden Eye" and "Bad boys". Recently completed the show "The Transporter".

Dr Conrad Zimsky
Character Bio:
Government, 40's, Scientist, Mission Rusty, bureaucat, world class in his field. Stature and route to position possible conerns for tension , namely with Keyes(competition). Grasps for leadership, potential detractor from team dynamic.
Actor Bio:
Stanley Tucci(Dr Conrad Zimsky) recently starred in Barry Sonnefield's ensemble comedy, "Big Trouble", co- starring Time allen and Rene Russo, Paramount classics "Sidewalks of new York", written and directed by Edward Burns, Sam Mendes's "Road to Perdition"

Dr Ed Brazzleton
Character Bio:
Engineer, RenegadeBuilder of the beast absolutely brilliant. Know s most about peril in journey, and open admits to the potential weakness in the virgil. Long time tension with Zimsky(personal issues). Concern about crew's ability to, ultimately handle the machine.
Actor Bio:
Delroy Lindo (Dr Ed Brazzleton) was most recently seen in "Last castle", opposite to Robert Redford, "Gone in Sixty seconds", opposite Nicolas Cage and Robert Duvall and "The Difer Hourse Rules".
In 1995, Lindo garnered critical acclaim for his role as Rodney in the Urban drama "Clockers". He also worked with Lee on "crooklyn" and "Malcolm X", the latter earning him a NAACP image award nomination.
