You won’t know how I felt,
Until you’ve read between the lines.
The sorrow I’ve endured,
The darkness, the bruises.
It hasn’t been long since I’ve opened my eyes
Since I’ve seen the world in all it’s beauty and hate
Since I’ve observed my surroundings,
Only to find that true love is deceiving and no one can be trusted.
We live in a world that depicts a story, woven from the heart,
Yet portraying the mind.
All it’s intellect is intimidating.
One thought could destroy someone’s happiness
Or put an end to someone’s pain.
Is this where we want to be?
