Here are the specifications of Tie Dye Terror Jr. as it appeared at Ryerson 2000:

I had found out about this competition on the BattleBots forum about a week before the event. I decided to enter a modified version of my r/c car into the Sumo Lightweight class. The weight limit of the class is 10 pounds. As this was going to be my first robotic sumo event, I had no idea of what the other sumo lightweights would be like. Basically I thought I was going to be killed...

Luckily, what my robot lacked in torque and weight, it made up for in speed, traction, and a wedge that could scoop up a piece of paper off the ground. The bots I went up against were very good, and gave me a very good fight. I ended up winning all of my matches, and won the class.

Knowing that I would be horribly outclassed in the next competition, I decided to retire TDT Jr.

T.D.T:

Tie Dye Terror was my first big robot, and competed in OCAD 2001. Although construction started in 2000 after the Ryerson event, all my prototypes were plagued with problems, specifically drive motors and gearing. Early prototypes used fan motors and v - belts, with the final choice being 2 wiper motors direct driving lawnmower wheels.

T.D.T. 2:

Tie Dye Terror 2 was supposed to be my entry into OCAD 2002, but HSRC 2002 was at almost the same dates( a week a part I believe). Although TDT2 was completed and running, I badly wanted to compete in HSRC and didn't have the money to build a new robot without re-using parts...so, I took the drill motors and batteries and used them in what became the Diabolical Machine. I ended up watching the OCAD 2002 event, and then going to Pennsylvania for HSRC.
