After giving this project some thought for the past several days, I decided to go ahead and build my own personal website to chronicle my Where's George? activities, and to also serve as a reference that will benefit me, but hopefully will also be of some benefit to others. I am not yet going to announce this to my friends in the WG community until there's a little more meat behind this. I want this to benefit the WG community, and I hope that it will also be of help to the newcomers of this hobby.

Last night I was up later than I should have been, getting all the wilds listed on the newly-created "wilds" page. I'm turning in earlier tonight, thus the "links" page will remain under construction. I still need to finish the history page writeup, create a page illustrating my marking techniques, then I can announce this site's existence.

I added a "Top Ten" page today, listing the top ten travelers. There are many other top ten categories I could come up with; I may start compiling the information but it will take a very long time to review the 6000+ bill reports. Sheesh, should I have even started this website? At least it will be a good self-reference.

I completed the "history" page yesterday, though I consider it to be in draft form. I will be working on that one some more. I added an image page of stamping styles that I use. I soon will add one that has scans of wilds that I have found. At that point, I can make this site public, even though it will still need some more work.

I'm continuing work on this site. I'm busy reviewing past hits. I've told a select few about this website, but plan to subtlely mention it on the forum postings. Eventually I'll have it linked in my Where's George? profile.

Phase I of site construction wrapped up a few months ago, with the listing of all hits for the $2 bills and up. Phase II has been in process for a month or so ago, as I work on creating pages for stamping styles that are no longer used. I created a separate page for the 2006 styles today, and will work on (as time permits) a 2005 page.
