Welcome to my website. I'm not really sure what I plan on putting up here yet, but I figure that it will be something about me, my work, and some of my favorite places on the Internet. I don't speak fluent computer geek, so don't be surprised that what you see here is the best of my ability - it very well may be.
I decided to build a website because I wanted to have a place to post news updates, photographs, and writing with some form of privacy. I did have a mypace page, but I was a little scared when my students started finding it... I invite you to come and look around to see if any of this stuff here interests you. Some of the links above are not yet active, but I'm hoping to have this thing together soon.

News Update: April 2005. In about a month I'll be finished with my graduate program in Teaching Literacy at St. John's. I'm happy to be finished...it will be nice to take a break from school after practically 22 years straight. I'm not exactly sure how much time off I will take, but it will be long enough for me to figure out what I want to do next. No, I don't think a Ph.D. is in my future - there is no way I'm going to be able to handle doctorate-level Stats. I couldn't even pass Dummy Stats in my freshman year at Syracuse!
My boyfriend, Jason, is currently deployed in Iraq. His family and I are anxiously awaiting his return home. We should see him next for two weeks of R&R by the end of August, and then back in the States for good before Christmas. |
