Max and Jen collected me from the airport, then off to the movies.
Finally I find myself at the Warfield theatre pinging to the Pixies

It was great to spend some time with Max and Jen.
They went out of their way to help me with my dramas.
Jen and Max ~ Cheers! You both rock!

Max has also kept website going with some nice pictures of his travels. LogicPole

One of the dramas was finding a specific model of bicycle trailer
The Burley Nomad.
I couldn't find it stocked in any of the bike shops close to San Francisco

I'll try to get one in Los Angeles (or get one ordered by my local bike shop there)

However, the bike has been good. It made San Francisco lots more fun.
I enjoyed riding around and finding out about the streets of San Francisco

Today I spent half the day in Oakland waiting for the Amtrak train.
It was delayed by 5 hours!
Still, it was a nice ride once the train left
the population spawl of the Bay Area and San Jose.

The train travelled through the country-side made famous by
John Steinbeck's ~Grapes of Wrath~.
Ash ~ I'm yet to read it still !

My next destination is San Luis Obispo
