WAS PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH PICKED BY GOD?As I was reading my Bible, a couple of weeks ago, I was curious as to what the Bible says about the current situation in Iraq, Because I was seriously doubting my original support for our President and this War. I was suprised to find what I had found and the accuracy which in my opinion leads me to at least ask the question; Was President Bush Picked by God? Please read and with an open mind you come to your own conclusion. ______________________________________________________ The Book of Isaiah was written sometime 100 B.C although the actual Date is highly disputed by Scholars. None the less I think we all agree that the Book in every aspect was written a heck of a long time before we invaded Iraq Right? ______________________________________________________ The book of Isaiah, specifically Chapters 13, and 14 deal with Isaiah's prediction of the fall of Babylon and it's King. Now for those of you that do not know World History that well, Modern day Babylon is today's Iraq, if you just look to the back of your King James Bible a map is provided to show you modern day Countries as apposed to the Countries of Biblical times. The Map will also show you that Modern day Assyria is IRAN <--This I will get to later in this article. Please Read on! ______________________________________________________ From Isaiah Chapter 13: Verse 1 through 5 1.The burden of Babylon which Isaiah son of Amoz did see. 2.Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the Nobles. 3. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. 4.The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a timultuous noise of the Kingdom of Nations gathered together; The Lord of hosts mustereth the hosts of the battle. 5.They come from a far Country, from the end of Heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: Now clearly Isaiah saw the Lord bringing together an Army to invade Babylon and destroy the land. For those who are not familiar with modern day military lingo, to "Mustereth" means to summon or arrange a regiment for battle. What the Lord is clearly doing is bringing forth an Army from a "Far Country" to go into Iraq or Babylon. Please read on it gets better. ______________________________________________________ From the Book of Isaiah Chapter 13 verse 6 through 10 6. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7. Thetrefore shall all hands be faint , and every mans heart shall melt: 8. And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travainleth; they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. 9. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10. For the stars of Heaven and the constelations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: Now some interesting comparisons in this section of Isaiah. ______________________________________________________ Verse 8 states that upon the Lords wrath, "Their faces shall be as of flames" pretty clear the meaning here is when the bombs fell on Bahgdad the reflections of the fires were on their faces. Verse 10: Is also clearly referring to when the bombs fell and the oil fires started the Sun or Moon could not be seen during that time in Iraq due to the heavy smoke from the oil fires. ______________________________________________________ Still disputable Huh? I agree, but here is where it becomes indisputable in my opinion. ______________________________________________________ Chapter 14 of Isaiah speaks of the fall/Proverb against the King of Babylon (Sadaam Husein) Verse 3 to 6 and 10 ______________________________________________________ 3. And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear , and from thy hard bondage whereof thou wast made to serve. 4. That thou shall take up this proverb against the King of Babylon, and say How hath thy oppressor ceased? and the golden City ceased? 5. The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptor of the rulers. 6. He who hath smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that hath ruled the Nations in anger, is persecuted and none hindereth. 10. And all they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou also become like unto us? ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: This section of Isaiah is clearly talking about Saddam Huseins reign of oppression over his people and his fall from power to his current situation as he sits in jail and Prosecution proceedings continue against him. He has been brought down to the peoples level and is being held accountable for his crimes. Still disputable you say? Continue on, as the next section is undisputable. _____________________________________________________ 20. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou has destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. 21. Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquities of their father that they do not rise nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the World with Cities. ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: "Thou shall not be joined with them in burial" clearly saying Sadaam will not die with his Sons as we have killed both of them during the War. "The seed of evildoers shall never be renowned". The Seed meaning Husey and Cusey Hussein, Saddams two sons. "Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their father" Without saying the names of Saddams sons this statement is something isn't it? ______________________________________________________ The Book of Revelation is the final book of the Bible and speaks of our Lords coming and final battle against evil. ______________________________________________________ In Revalation chapter 18 the Doom of Babylon is predicted. Now these are things yet to have occurred. Are we now living in these time? ______________________________________________________ Listen to this! ______________________________________________________ Rev 18: 15 to 18 states the following. 15. The Merchants of these things that were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weaping and wailing. 16. And saying, Alas, alas, that great City that was clothed in fine linen, and purple and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls. 17. For in one hour, so great riches has come to nought, and every ship master and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many that trade by sea, stood afar off. 18. And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying what city is like unto this great city. ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: When the USA and Allied forces began bombing Iraq, every ship that traded by the persian gulf watched as the City and pretty much the entire Country burned from the bombings and oil fires. ______________________________________________________ Do you still think it is disputable? Read on my final statement is short but ices the cake so to speak ______________________________________________________ Chapters 24 and 25 of The Book of Isaiah also predicts our upcoming conflict with IRAN. Chapter 24 to 25 Book of Isaiah ______________________________________________________ 24. The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying , surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass: and as I have purposed, so shall it stand. 25. That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot; then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. ______________________________________________________ COMMENT: After the conflict in IRAQ is completed it clearly states that God will detroy the Assyrian in his land, Assyria is Modern day IRAN. All you have to do is look at the mounting conflict between the USA and IRAN over it's nuclear production. ______________________________________________________ I believe that the KJV of the Bible is the infallible word of God and he teaches us that his word is "TRUTH" and to take away or add to "TRUTH" is blasphemous. You come to your own conclusions, I have come to mine to believe otherwise could be very painful in the future. |
