When darkness falls upon my day,
my body I lay to rest.
In my heart, tho shalt stay,
filling the emptiness in my chest.

As I dream, in the midday hours,
thoughts of you, encircling my crown.
A breeze of fragrant flowers,
surfacing just above the ground.

Sunlight peering thru the window pane,
as the darkness overtakes me.
Of a busy night, it takes away the pain,
this life, most others cannot see.

In this darkness we meet again,
we talk, we laugh, we share our feelings.
