Gray Day

Life is not, all black and white,
in the middle, there's a gray.
Thou the near future, may not seem bright,
is here, amyst the gray, I'm content to stay.

Days gone by, seen on one side or the other,
but either way was right to me.
An attitude, my thoughts of life, would smother,
the gray in the middle I did not see.

A new day, a new outlook within others lives,
ones so young and precious to me.
Makes you step back to make forward strives,
a future of, "in the middle" I began to see.

Different opinions, with different looks,
is what makes us all quite unique.
A step into the mysts of the gray, it took,
to find the diversity we all seek.

If your life is either black or white,
step into the middle, look upon a gray dove.
You too, will see a better light,
A world of peace and love.
