(Valencia supporters came with high expectation to win
this final as the crowd was fully coloured through banners, pomp pomps, flags, balloons,
caps, badges and t-shirts. In the first half neither team dominated but
Valencia dominated the second half, got most of the chances
but unlucky not to score through several brilliantly created chances. It was
Patrick Tchikaya, who dashed Valencia's dream of winning the championship for
the third consecutive time and he was marked by an
inexperienced Azmoon (Modey) for the replacement of veteran
Ali-Shaaheen, who missed the last vital matches through injuries. Patrick
scored two vital goals in the second half followed by Shah's goal in the first
half. Shah got couple of golden chances and Lachchey also missed very good
chances to extend the lead but it was not their day)
