(In this match Timar Balazs of Hungary dominated the
attacking area through out the game. Orchid had difficulties to mark him
but he was irresistible. This was, perhaps the best individual skill shown by

(Club Valencia defeated Victory Sports Club to crown the 10th POMIS Cup. This
was a great revenge as in the round robin stage Victory edged Valencia 1-0
but in the final, Valencia played better and won against the first ever
Maldivian side to win the POMIS Cup, Victory. This was Moosa Manik's (Kuda
Moosa) last ever game in a Valencia jersey and he was at high hills as
he was won all the trophies with Valencia under his captaincy. National
Cups in 1993 and 1994, Cup Winners' Cup in 1995, F.A Cup in 1995 and POMIS

(Club Valencia beat Victory Sports Club 3-1 in the 2nd
Cup Winner's Cup Final, a revenge for the 2-0 loss in the National final, few
weeks back. This was a well-deserved win for Valencia, as
Victory never recovered from the early setback. Valencia played a wonderful
game putting Victory under pressure in most of the time. A tight Victory
defense denied Valencia's numerous shots in the first half but couldn't repeat
the stuff in the second half as Valencia scored three times before Amir struck
a late goal for Victory. A win in the next Cup Winners' Cup, Valencia will be
registered as the first ever team to seal the trophy in three successions)
