(Ali-Umar put Valencia in front but Huraa finally managed to score a goal from
a dubious penalty in the very last minute to level the game 1-1. How ever,
during the golden goal period, Thoddoo scored from a back header to seal
victory and avenged last year's elimination by Huraa in the same competition.
Thoddoo's golden goal was the first ever-golden goal that came in the history
of the F.A Cup. Earlier Andharey scored from a spot kick in the POMIS Cup and
Patrick (Congo) scored against JCT of India in the Asian Club
Championship)

(A very memorable final match as Club Valencia came from behind to score two vital
goals to clinch the last tournament in this Millennium, century and decade. This
was Valencia's first ever win against Huraa in this tournament. One should not
forget that Valencia was completely outplayed by Huraa, beaten 5-1 in the
first round. In the Semi final too, Huraa came from behind to secure a place
in the final. Though Huraa dominated over Valencia through out the league,
Valencia edged Huraa in the most important match to crown the prestigious
National Cup.
Valencia's goals came from lethal-duo Ali-Umar and Thoddoo Nizam. They had
been so phenomenal through out the entire 1999 season and congratulations to
them. One thing to remember is that if the referee had been fair in the last
game against Huraa that ended in a 1-1 draw, Valencia would be the League Champions instead of Huraa)
