Baker Street is a four piece rockin' blues band from the Denver Colorado area. The two guitar players with Baker Street, Randy Mrugala and Julius Nevins, each have many years of experience playing the blues, both locally and nationally. Baker Street's rhythm section consists of DJ Mrugala on drums and Christine Webb on bass. Christine supplies soulful vocals on songs previously recorded by Aretha Franklin, Rory Block, Debbie Davies, and Bonnie Raitt. In addition to some originals, Baker Street's repertoire also consists of classic blues songs by artists such as Albert King, Magic Sam, T-Bone Walker, Ivory Joe Hunter, and Guitar Slim; lively jump tunes by Louis Jordan, Joe Turner, and Moon Mullican; and also some mellow ballads such as Horace Silver's "Song for my Father" and Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Riviera Paradise".
