Heritage Music Festival celebrated 2003 Blues Year with the 3rd annual blues music festival in the city of Wheeling West Virginia on August 15th-17th. The West Virginia blues music festival will included the West Virginia blues band Dennis McClung Blues Band who performed along with, Little Charlie & The Nightcats, Otis Taylor, Joe Bonamassa, James Cotton, Teeney Tucker & Drivin' Wheel, Richard Johnston, Debbie Davies, Corey Harris & The 5x5 Band, Walter Trout & The Radicals, John Mayall & The Blues Breakers, Patrick Sweaney, Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets feat. Sam Myers, Deborah Coleman. The city of Wheeling West Virginia was the host to this 3 day West Virginia festival and will attract many from Pittsburgh Wheeling area.
The Dennis McClung Blues Band performed on the 2nd day of the Heritage Music Festival. On Saturday August 16th, 2003 Dennis McClung Blues Band warmed up the Heritage Music Festival audience at 11:30 am, after which Teeney Tucker and Drivin Wheel performed on the main stage at 12 noon. After Teeney Tucker & Drivin' Wheel, the Dennis McClung Blues Band kept the Heritage Music Festival rolling with the blues, starting with another performance at 1:05 pm. Following this heated performance, Richard Johnston performed at 1:30 pm. Following Richard Johnston, Dennis McClung Blues again took the stage at 2:50 and primed the audience for Debbie Davies.
