THE PLOT OF POSSESSION

CHAPTER ONE: AN UNSUSPECTING MIND
(BY 21ST CENTURY HIPPIE CHICK)

"..and when you get there, I need you to try and catch the drummer's eye," the mysterious man whispered, "and when you do, bring him to me. I am his uncle, you see, and I have no other way to contact him."

The man was a bit shorter than your average man; he wore a crisp black suit with a blue dress shirt beneath the sportcoat. His hair was the color of ashes, his eyes a piercing blue, and he had a very prominent nose. And his smile.... his smile was sly, mocking, maybe even a bit sinister....

He claimed his name was Mr. Zero, and he was the "eccentric uncle" of a drummer in a band; and it sounded like he and this person needed to talk DESPERATELY....

The person whom he'd picked to help him replied, "Alright; I'll bring him for you," not realizing what they were getting into.

"Thank you, dear. Now run along, I 'aven't got all night," Mr. Zero replied smoothly.

When he heard the footsteps of his unsuspecting helper departing, he laughed a hollow, greedy, nasty laugh, knowing that at last he would have his revenge....

Meanwhile, the club known as the Cassandra was jumping with action and fun. The local band that'd taken Malibu by storm called the Monkees were the ones causing it; they were playing one of their newest songs they called "No Time", and all the girls that were dancing had the guys' eyes on them....

But then, a new occupant came into the club; she was a stunning beauty of 5'6 with chestnut brown hair in big, playful curls, crystaline blue eyes, and a body to die for....

The first band member to notice her presence was Davy Jones, the local cassanova, but her interest was obviously elsewhere.

All of a sudden the drummer, Micky Dolenz looked up and saw her. When their eyes met, his heart skipped a beat and his voice cracked, making the song go a bit stale. He couldn't WAIT for the set to finally be over!
