His thoughts were on his home...his family. He wondered how his sisters were; his father had been poor in health when he left, what of him?

Oh, Peter. His best friend; his brother...

More than likely now, he'd never see him again.

Oh, how he wished these New York City winters weren't bleeding him.

Going home....

What a nice thought...but it'd never happen.

Mike wasn't keeping up much of his part of the bargain; Davy hardly made enough money to buy what he needed. All he ever did was fight...

And hardly for anything.
