This is the only publie entrance,

to the creek.

It's a wild and beautiful place.

The turtles here were too skittish;

the only thing that posed for me was this dragonfly.

Here it is close up.

I had to squeeze under this log;

if it was another inch lower,

I wouldn't have made it. =)

Even though it's nearly noon,

most of the creek is covered in shadow,

as it meanders under the canopy of trees.

This is the spot I picked

to say a prayer for my friend, Ken;

I think he would have liked this spot;

it's a very quiet, restful place.
