I Used You

Running as far as I can before reality strikes,
crushing down on me with thousands of spikes,
stabbing into my skin,
to punish me my committed sin.
Before I can go back and say,
that I was sorry and I would pay,
before I got your respect,
I decided to intercept,
your views and turn them down my avenues,
becoming adjusted to you choice of Hughes,
I used, you. I took what you saw,
and for that I knew if I stayed I would fall,
so I decided to leave,
hoping that in some way you could conceive,
that in no way was I naive,
an that I wasn't trying to deceive you and your views.
I believed in you,
I thought you were true,
I wanted to share your views,
and that is why I left,
for my theft,
but in reality you taught me,
how to live and what to be,
what I want people to look and see.
I did that,
and created this so called attack.
You know what I did is right
and that's a fact.
You knew that you yourself couldn't hack,
only sit back, and jack,
talk about what you were about,
and inside you was much doubt,
if you could live your life down that rout[e].
All you could do is sit there and pout.
That's not me and my ways,
and I can't not act and only say
you know that one-day,
it would all pay.
And to your dismay,
I brought down judgment day.
I was the one able to create.
I was supposed to be your bait,
the one who agreed, and would wait,
but checkmate,
my friend, I found my fate,
and it is too late.
Your words only kept me bound,
the only thing you could provide was sound,
I was the one that came around,
I was the one that was actually found.
