LIFE'S SHORT
Sun kissed
Moon licks
Night hugged
Day shrugs.
Wind howled
Air hushes
Guns pounded
Paint brushes.
Music sang
Ear listens
Anger clanged
Sadness hisses.
I died
You cry
Sounds stilled
Birds fly.
God tried
You believed
Satan lies
All breathed.
After all
Life’s short
Trees tall
Build a fort.
