Womyn
I'll begin by saying that, by no way am I affiliated with any feminist cult, club, organization, etc... I just look around and see what goes on around me, and I take my time to write it down. Some things I get more pissed off about than most.
I find it most disturbing, and most unensuring that in this day and age of high tech everything, and in a seemingly advanced society, that I would be writing about equality of womyn among men.
I used to be in the school of thought that, nowadays, womyn hold all right and all privileges that men do, which... for the most part is true. But as I am growing older I realize that a number of cracks exist in my thoughts. I won't even begin to address all of them though, frankly, because I don't fucking feel like it. I leave that up to the feminists. What I want to talk about, is the inequality that I've seen most teenage womyn take part of due to their boyfriends' macho impulses.
Scenario: A guy [A] and a girl are going out. The guy [A] sees his girlfriend hugging and hanging all over another guy [B]. How does he respond?
"I'm gonna kick that fucker's ass for touching my girlfriend." Typical, absurd male macho behaviour. Never for one second, I'm sure, did the thought pass through the dimwit's head that maybe his girlfriend doesn't like him, or is looking for a bit more. Instead, he goes right on to blaming the guy, even though it's clearly the girl's fault. With the exclusion of Don Juan, how many guys can really accredit themselves to having lured womyn away from their partners? I don't really know much, but from what I've seen, it's usually the girl doing the luring, taking advantage of the fact that men are so often driven only by sexual desire. The fact that this girl is all over another guy is clearly a choice she made on her own, is what I'm getting to, and that her boyfriend should instead kick her ass, for being an unloyal cheating bitch. So there. Of course, this is gonna get me in trouble now, but I don't really care. You girls wanted the equality, and with equality comes a good ass kicking every once in a while. And if womyn want to do anything they want, which I believe they should be allowed to, then all that chivalry shit really does flow down the drain, I'm sorry to say. Of course, this is being written by a Sado-Masochist asshole who would quite frankly enjoy a good ass kicking from his significant other every now and then, but I'm crazy, what the hell do I know?
But back to the topic at hand. Come on guys, must we act uncivilized, like animals in the wild, fighting with each other over problems our womyn cause? NO! I am a humyn, not a lion. No offense to the lions of course, every animal has it's own customs, but I thought we humyns had different ways of handling things, especially in our ever so equal society.
But who am I lying to? Our society is as equal as 1 and 2 (where I am 2, and you are 1 :P), and until we really can achieve equality, then I guess men are allowed to thing this way, even though no one really wants them to.
I'll finish off by saying that I don't really know if I got my point across in writing this. I think I had a point, but I kept on going off on tangents, so I'll try to sum it up a bit. Men think in reverse ways because of their instinctual machoism, blaming their male counterparts as opposed to the femeyle, who is really the one to blame in such a scenario as mentioned above. I hope you understand it, and if you don't, ahh fuck it, you probably don't really care anyways.
Update 12/27/01 2:51 AM
O.K. This probably isn't the best time to be writing, and I should be doing the whole sleeping thing, but oh well. I was reading over this, and I figured I'd give it another shot, though I'm sure I'll still fail.
I think a better scenario than the one above is this:
Guy "A" and girl are going out. Guy "B" wants girl, and therefore threatens guy "A" that he's gonna kick his ass.
In this scenario, guy "B" isn't even asking the girl what she thinks. He completely imagines that the girl would obviously want him instead of her current boyfriend (which, were it true, she would just break up with guy "A" and go out with him). It's this macho thought that sickens me, and I hope I got it through to you this time.
As an addition, I'm sure at least one of you is asking, "Instead of adding this, why doesn't he just change the thing on top?" To this, I answer thusly: What has been said up top still holds true. To change it would be to infer that I don't believe in it. The truth is that what I said up there is another thought that accidentally came out while trying to prove the latter part of this writing, and, though it accidentally came out, it still holds true in my mind, and, lets face it, this is my website, with my thoughts.
