Hatori is the dragon of the zodiac animal. For some reason he transforms into a very cute seahorse (Seahorse is believed to be the son of Dragon, maybe that's why....) Literally, he's the doctor for the Souma's family doctor, but most of his time he takes care Akito at the 'base family' house. He has the ability to erase one's memories, and has done so in the past when ordered to by Akito. His left eye is usually covered with his hair because that eye is partially blind.

Name: Kana Souma

Originally she was Hatori's assistant at the Souma 'base family' house. Hatori and her falls in love. Things are going pretty well, except for the fact Hatori is a junishi and he can't have physical contact with women. *poor Hatori* One day, Kana accidently figured that out, but the curse isn't enough to stop Kana from loving Hatori. Hatori went to seek Akito's permission to marry Kana, but Akito savagely blinds his left eye. Akito screams at Kana and accuses her of causing Hatori's injury. Kana blames herself for Hatori's injury and eventually becomes physically and emotionally ill. Hatori doesn't want Kana to suffer anymore, so he erases Kana's memory *that's sad.....T_T*. After Kana recovered, she has no memory about Hatori and anything that happened between two of them. In Vol 2, we know that Kana is marrying another person.
