  Karamah: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights (US)
Karamah is a charitable, educational organization which focuses upon the domestic and global issues of human rights for Muslims. Its objectives are:
1. Increase the familiarity of the Muslim community with Islamic, American, and International laws on the issues of human rights;
2. Advise and assist individuals, institutions, and organizations on matters of human rights as seen from the perspective of Islamic law;
3. Advise and assist Muslims, particularly women, on matters adversely affecting the free exercise of their religion, freedom of expression, and other constitutional rights in the United States;
4. Provide educational materials on legal and human rights issues to American Muslim women.

  Muslim Women's Help Line (UK)
Established in 1989, the MWHL provides Islamic based counselling (telephone and face-to-face), support and information and referral to Islamic consultants across a range of expertise. As a registered charity, its services provided have included mediation in disputes between elders and the younger generation and between married people; support to individuals in times of crisis e.g. to young victims of sexual abuse or to women with mental health problems; and providing welfare and support to people from backgrounds as diverse as a maimed Bosnian refugee and his family to a bereaved and isolated widow living in a inner city tower block.
