The following pics are Nikita at 11 1/2 years of age, munching on a bone while guarding the house on the front verandah. (yeah, right!) Nikita is one of those special dogs. She gave me my beautiful Gidget, is an absolute horror in the ring (which is the reason I quit showing her), and is the undisputed boss of the boys. She thinks she is permenently in season, and tarts up to any doggy, whether male or female, Nikita doesn't care....Nikita was sold at 8 weeks, and we were lucky enough to get her back at 18 month of age. After giving us 2 litters, Nikita decided that her duty as a mother was done! If I could breed more bitches with bone, structure and temperament like her I would be the happiest breeder in Victoria.
This pic was taken the day before Nikita crossed the rainbow bridge. She was a special dog and left a space no other will fill. RIP gorgeous girl.
