Purpose

A.    Assistance. To offer assistance to students by providing research on career and academic opportunities, tutoring referrals, research grants, scholarships, and internships.

B.    Involvement. To encourage Sociology students to serve their department, campus, community, and bring a social and political awareness in challenging and critiquing current social problems.

C.    Relationships. To develop relationships with fellow Sociology students, encourage mentor relationships with Sociology alumni and faculty, and to build student solidarity, diversity, inclusiveness, and networks.
