Third
Degree are a London three piece
who like their Blues loud & energetic.
They spent our respective youths in pubs watching British
Blues legends Eric Clapton and Dr
FeelGood in hope of
emulating them one day by breathing new life into great old songs.
Phil Barton - Guitar/Vocals
Lives in Essex on the Thames Delta - breeding ground to the best live
British R&B band ever; Dr
FeelGood. His fave players are Eric
Clapton (Mayall era), Peter Green (Horizon era),
Jimi Hendrix
and Gypie Mayo.
He plays a Strat with a Fender Twin. He's also been lumbered
with vocal duties.
John Murphy - Bass
Lives in West London & followed Eric Clapton round his local pubs
& clubs before he was God! (That's Clapton, not John!) John, like
the best bass players, puts the song before his ego.
He plays a Fender Jazz through a Trace stack.
Pete Humphries - Drums
Drummer extraordinaire, once managed to break an "unbreakable"
carbon
fibre drum stick. His main man is Stuart Copeland.
