Batman in his natural habitat: A comic book.
I don't really have a lot of Bat-facts, but he first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in the May, 1939 issue. His own comic book (titled "Batman" of course) debuted a year later. (Debuted? Is that a word?)
Now here's some marvelous Batman art of my own. You will note that it is not copyrighted. I'm not sure how exactly these could ever make you any money, because they're pretty shoddy, but if somehow you do, I'll get my witch friends to curse your name. So don't copy these for your own sake and for the sake of everybody that happens to have the same name that you do.
