Before every single, every day–and I’ve always done this, even before my first match some time back in 1990– I stretch. Everybody freaks out over my stretch routine. They all say everybody should do that, but nobody does. If I have enough time to get my full routine in, it takes about 45 minutes to stretch. That’s my insurance from getting injured in the ring.
