I am a retired nurse and am enjoying my retirement.
I have been married to Herman (my husband)for 38 years.
He is a retired Army Drill Instructor.He served his country for 20 years
and was awarded two Purple Hearts for wounds received in the Korean War.

He, also, received the Combat Infantry Badge. He was still in the Army
when we married in 1965 in Carson City, Nevada.
We knew each other briefly before we married.
He was born in Galloway, Georgia, and raised in East Tennessee.

We have 3 children David, James, and Janet
and 6 grandchildren, whose names are
Macon, Zack, Sarah, Ashley, Rusty and Marc.

I love animals of all kinds.
I have had many dogs and cats and loved them all.
My favorite cat was a Russian Blue named Buttons.
He was my baby. I had him for 7 years
and then he went over the Rainbow Bridge.
