Yes, I Will: Prologue

Ooh... Yeah...

You're afraid it's all come down to this place where dreams are falling to the ground, mmm Just look up, you'll make it through, 'cause there's a heavenly being that's watching over you, ooh

Calling down an angel who will help you believe (oh) I'm sending out a prayer, I'm down on my knees I'm reaching up to heaven, knowing you will someday see that there's hope beyond the struggle Just hold on, I'm calling down an angel

It's not too late, it's almost over If you'll just wait you'll feel it lifting off your shoulders So keep believing The Son always promises a new day It'll stop the rain, break the chains, and chase the pain away

Calling down an angel who will help you believe (ohh) Sending out a prayer (sending out, yeah), I'm down on my knees (I'm down on my knees) I'm reaching up to heaven (yeah), knowing you will someday see (that you will someday see) there's hope beyond the struggle (ohh) Just hold on (hold on), I'm calling down an angel

If you've been tryna be so strong, you've been waiting for so long, but the miracle never comes Heaven's holding every single tear you cry And if you stop to feel at home, just know that I am...

Calling down an angel (calling down an angel) who will help you believe (you've gotta believe me) Sending out a prayer (and I'm sending out a prayer), I'm down on my knees (I'm down on my knees) Reaching out to heaven (reaching out to heaven), knowing you will someday see (that you will someday see) there's hope beyond the struggle (ohh) Just hold on, I'm calling down an angel...

Calling down, I am calling down an angel (calling down an angel) Calling down, I am calling down an angel

I'm calling down an angel Ooh, yeah Oh yeah Ooh Just hold on, I'm calling down an angel

-Calling Down An Angel; Plus One

(CD: Obvious)

Nick stared out over the glassy lake, the sun's reflection sparkling like crystal. He didn't know exactly how he'd gotten to this point ... this point of falling; crashing and burning. One minute he'd been the happiest man alive. The next, his whole world had collapsed around him. If things had gone according to plan, he would be getting married at that moment, but glancing at his watch he knew it just wouldn't be happening. A problem such as his couldn't be fixed over night.

Nick and his fiance had been ecstatic the night before, laughing and playing games with their friends as a substitute for bachelor and bachelorette parties. And then the doorbell had rung. Eleven o'clock at night, dark outside, and suddenly somebody had been at the door. Everybody had curiously looked at each other.

Nick had been the one to answer the door, but as he sat now, from a park bench, staring at the water in front of him, he wished he hadn't. He knew that what had greeted him, as he'd opened the door, would change his life forever.

He didn't want it to change. He needed an angel and he needed one fast.
