Whispers in Moonlight

Whispers in moonlight
Soft tread upon earthen carpet
Alone
Chill breeze on tear-streaked cheeks
Waves lap gently on the shore
Dark, murky waters
Calling
A siren's song
Clothes fall to the ground
barefoot to the waters edge
One last sigh

Chill ebony waters consume
