Chapter 8
Monicas P.O.V
When I drove to school (my alarm clock actually worked today and I got to school earlier than usual) I saw Brandy sitting at a bench crying and getting lots of stares from people. I really felt bad for her she got her heart broken....well at least wasn't me right..oh come on I was kidding I do really feel bad for her and I'm sure we would have been great friends if we hadn't met the way we did. I walked over to her and tapped her gently.She looked up and her make up was all messed up
"Come on Brandy lets go fix your make up"
She nodded got up and we walked to the campus bathroom.
Thats when she started crying even harder
"I....can't....believe....I....actually....thought.... Amanda....was....his....cousin....I....was....such....a....fool." she said in between cries.
Ok yeah she was a fool but now probably wasn't a good time to say this. So instead I said something that would outcome of the Cosby show.
"Oh come on its not that bad"
"Yeah it is we were about to have SEX and you call that NOT THAT BAD?!" Brandy started crying again, that was when the bell rang
"I can't go to my classes today" she said as I started to walk out of the bathroom and I stopped.
"What?! Brandy you can't ditch class....no you can't ditch school."
"Monica, I can't go to school my heart hurts from all the heart breaking Aj did to me"
"Fine but if you get in trouble don't blame me." I walked out of the bathroom.
I sighed and followed Brandy
"Need a friend?"
She nodded and we drove to the mall. It must have been our lucky day because there was Amanda in an expensive clothing store
"Hey De heres our chance lets go talk her."
Brandy nodded and we walked into the store.
"Thats a nice dress."I said
Amanda looked up " You think so my boyfriend's taking me out to dinn...do I know you from somewhere??"
"Uh... well not personally but we have sort of met" Brandy answered while browsing.
"You're those girls who "borrowed" my boyfriend!"
"uhh yeah that would be us" I said
Brandy had this glazed looked then said "Im going to the food court."
Then Brandy walked of the store. Ok just when I need her support she leaves what is up with her she really need to stop this pity act. "Look I have some distressing news, your boyfriend is a playa."
"What?!"
"Yeah I know it's shocking but true."
"Look I don't know what your problem is but.." my problem I was tryin to help her.
"If you think I'm tryin steal him then you need to see a head doctor cause I ain't even tryin to get up in this mess he's the one flirting me & my friend-" did I say friend? cause I didn't mean too "when he know he gotta girl."
"Whatever" "Ok fine don't believe me but just in case you want to see the truth meet us um... tommorrow at Mcdonalds on 34th. It was nice seeing you again."
