I was stuck in between Nick and Brian, which shouldn't have been too much of a problem, considering I disliked Nick as much as he disliked me, but it was apparent that Brian and I wouldn't be able to flirt or anything since, Leighanne was all over him during the movie. Kevin was on Brians side at the end of the row and Howie was on mine, as if they were guard dogs or something.
Brian had to share popcorn with Leighanne, while I was stuck sharing with Nick. This was even more worse then if Nsync had decided to interrupt our date. Occasionally I would glance over at Nick and glare at him, and he would glance back and smile innocently.I glared back at him and he just winked.
"Want some popcorn?" He asked as if he hadn't just ruined one of the most perfect evenings of my life. I glowered at him.
"No thank you." I snapped
"Are you sure? Its extremely buttery." Nick coaxed
Though i loved buttery popcorn, I wouldn't be swayed.
"No, thank you." I whispered angrily
"But its sooo good, don't tell me you're one of those girls who doesn't eat, just to keep her figure." Nick said teasingly
"No, but maybe you should try it." I whispered as Howie gave us both a look saying, "shut up". Nick glared at me, sat back in his chair, and grumbled to himself.
By the end of the evening, I was terribly upset and Brian could see it, especially when he drove me home. He pulled up in the parking lot.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting a group date." Brian said as he played with my hair.
"Group date? More like group...undate." I said pouting." And I'm pretty sure Kevin set that up, he doesn't seem to like me."
"Aw, sure he does. He's just not good around new people, thats all." Brian smiled at me.
"Oh? Is Nick the same way?" I said
"I'm telling you sweet cheeks, they're just getting used to having someone else in the backstreet family, thats all." Brian reassured me.
I sighed and stared at my house. Glancing upwards I saw that Katie and Cassie were watching from the window as was Justin. I groaned, obviously it was time for me to go inside. I gave Brian a quick kiss on the lips. "If you say so." I said softly, before opening the car door.
"I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" Brian said
"Okay."
