After putting away all the new clothes we bought, the girls and I sat in the living room and began to play the movies we rented. Our first choice was Dirty Dancing.
As the previews began, Katie turned to me. "Okay, spill."
I stared at Katie in confusement, "Huh?"
"You never told us about the date..what happened?" Katie whined
I gave a small sigh,"What date? As far as I'm concerned, the only thing Brian and I did, was hang out with the guys. We didn't even get a chance to flirt. Kevin was breathing down our necks."
"Aw, well...I think you two should schedule some alone time, if you know what I mean." Katie teased, then winked at me.
"Brian, isn't like that." For which I was thankful.
"Alicia, all guys are like that." Cassie said
"No, thats not true. You guys are seriously starting to sound like J.T." I gave a frown.
"Well, thats the one thing he's right about." Katie said softly, "Guys are only interested in one thing."
"Well, not Brian. Can we drop the subject please?" I said stubbornly.
Katie and Cassie nodded. We returned out attention back to the movie, which was now beginning to start. After the movie, Katie and Cassie walked into the kitchen to get some snacks and drinks.
*Briiiiiing Briiiiiiiing*
I looked at the caller id on my cellphone and a small smile formed on my face.
It was Brian and although, I wasn't supposed to let any interruptions start. I couldn't resist picking up the phone.
"Hello?" I said
"Hey sweetcheeks."
I giggled, "Hey Bri-bear, whats up?"
"Well, theres this function I have to go to next week and I wanted to know if you'd like to be my date for the evening." Brian asked
"Really? What kind of event?" I asked as Katie and Cassie walked in. Once they noticed me on the phone, frowns appeared on their face. I gave them an apologetic look.
"Well, I have this movie premiere to go to and..."
"A movie premiere, really? Were you in it at all?" I squealed interrupting him.
Brian laughed, "Yes, I did a little somethin, somethin. So, wanna go?"
"I'd love to." I said
"Great, it'll be around 7 but its out of town, in L.A. I hope thats alright." Brian said
He was soo sweet.
"Yeah, thats fine." I said even though I knew Justin wouldn't like this one bit.
"Great, I'll pick you up on Tuesday."
