Song of the Moment: JC Chasez - 100 Ways
What's up, fuckers?! (In case you haven't read that JC interview, it's not meant to offend.)
Today, the Jaded Ladies of Everybody's Free celebrate the milestone Five Year Anniversary.
*throws confetti*
It's obvious the seven of us have been preoccupied with the new adventures and challenges in our lives, leaving the site practically dormant. But even without the flash and glitz of anniversaries past, we didn't want to let this milestone pass without doing SOMETHING.
This year's theme is Nostalgia. Lately, it seems that while people support the guys individually, they still speak highly of the magic they had as a group. Then I (Liv) was cleaning up my disks and files, and found all sorts of our paritally finished articles, ideas, and even completed work that was for some reason never posted. And a theme was born. What better way to celebrate how far we've come, than to reflect on where we've been?
We don't have a lot to offer you today, in time for the anniversary, but we figured a milestone such as five years should be celebrated year round. In the coming weeks, we will slowly be putting up a new layout, the newly discovered older articles, and some fresh new stuff. Even we busy bees still have a few tricks up our sleeves. The guys haven't given us much to make fun of cohesively, but individually they're really asking for it. lol
We have to thank Brittany, for being a smart ass, and cultivating the idea of a humor site that's grown into something out of the Little Shop of Horrors. LOL Moreover, we are thankful she gave us the opportunity to keep things going. Her shoes are hard to fill, and none of us will ever be able to.
Finally, thank you (the reader) for sticking with us. Thanks for the submissions, praise, hatemail, but most importantly, just for visiting. There is nothing quite like this fandom, rabid teenies, haters and all, and you've helped make this site what it is.
Happy Anniversary!
Stay *NSYNC! (HAHA! Heh.)
