As some of you may recall (or may not), ever since I have been an editor on NJEF I have done nothing but ramble about Berklee College of Music and how much I wanted to attend. I also attended a summer program up there (in Boston) last year, and fell even more in love with the school.
Well, I think maybe my dream has finally come true. Ladies and Gentleman, I GOT ACCEPTED AT BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC!!! I am beyond ecstatic. I will enroll as a percussion principal with marimba emphasis. This is a major milestone for me and I wanted to share it with the rest of you. I wanted to do this so badly for my father (who has been deceased for almost a year now. Check out my memorial dedicated to him) but I wanted to do this so badly for myself. And somehow....I did it. I can't believe it. Unreal.
