"Okay? Because you know I feel like a TOTAL idiot right now, Lex!" I cried, catching my reflection in the mirrored windows of the club.

"You look GREAT!" She said, for what had to be the fiftieth time, "Will you stop bitching?"

I guess I did look pretty good...but I sure as hell wasn't used to it. Lex had gone shopping with me to pick out my outfit for this very occasion. I guess you could say I epitomized the word "bling"...cause I was sparklin' from head to toe.

I had lost a signifigant amount of weight just recently, and to celebrate that, I had bought almost an entire new wardrobe...the outfit that I wore that night was one of my favorites - tight black leather pants, and a black leather halter, that showed off my newest acquisition...a belly button piercing.

Everything else was silver...strappy silver heels - A shiny silver top that lay unbuttoned (So as to show off the halter of course!) and a silver bandana holding back my long auburn hair.

"You could blind someone with the glare off that outfit alone!" Our friend Paige told me as we greeted her outside the club, "But you look great!"

Paige and Lex always looked good, but of course tonight we all had to be just BUMPIN'! They were both all in black...Lex in black leather pants similar to mine, and Paige in a short little black skirt that didn't leave much to the imagination. Lex wore a tight black sweater that cut off just above her midrif, and a pair of cute black sandals.

I think Paige was the bravest of the three of us. Besides the skirt, she wore a soft powder blue colored handkerchief top that brought out her eyes. She wore thigh high black boots, which covered up most of the leg that the skirt didn't.

The three of us walked into the club together, flashing our passes and our ID's to the bouncer at the door. The music was loud, and the lights were flashing wildly. There were people EVERYWHERE, young, old, white, black...but mostly GORGEOUS!

"Alright, we need a game plan!" Lex said over the music. Paige and I laughed, knowing that Lex on a mission was a force to be reckoned with.

"What do you suggest, oh fearless leader?" Paige called back.

I saw them before either of my friends did. Two gorgeous blonde heads bobbing up and down out on the dance floor. It was impossible to mistake them for anyone else.

I reached over and tapped Paige on the shoulder.

"Hod up, Liz!" She said over the thumping bass, "We're trying to figure out how to find these guys!"

I rolled my eyes back in my head and placed a hand on either side of Paige's head, turning it toward the dance floor. Her eyes grew wide, and she turned back to Lex.

"Liz did all our work for us!" She laughed, pointing them out to Lex.

"But that's just Justin and Lance!" Lex said, almost sounding disappointed, "Where the hell is Chris and Joey?"

"Don't you think if we get next to a couple of them, the rest are soon to follow?" I asked, edging my way into the bar and asking the bartender for a margarita.

I got my drink, and turned to find that Lex and Paige had already begun to make their way toward Lance and Justin. I groaned, and followed after them, pushing my way through the gyrating bodies on the dance floor.

I finally got up next to Paige, and she thrust me toward Lance.

"Go get yer man!" She yelled over the music.

I kinda lost my footing, and ended up tripping on those god-awful heels. A pair of strong hands caught me by the arms before I could fall flat on my face.

I lifted my head and had to catch my breath...those eyes were unmistakeable. I don't think that there are another pair of eyes on this earth that are that color green...

"You alright?" Lance asked me, an amused smirk on his gorgeous face.

I nodded, and glared back over my shoulder at Paige, who was snickering, but at the same time motioning madly for me to turn back around and talk to him.

"I'll live." I laughed.

"Well that's good!" He smiled that killer smile of his, "You look amazing..." He said, looking me up and down, "Would you like to dance?"

Ohhhh shit...Houston, we have lift-off! "I'd love to!" I said, and he took my hands and pulled me a little further onto the dance floor.

My god, he was breath-taking...he looked like he had just stepped off the pages of some glitzy men's magazine or something. And he smelled INCREDIBLE. The scent of his cologne ALONE was enough to get me in that kinda mood, if you catch my drift.

He moved up closer to me as we danced, so that our bodies were nearly touching.

"So what brings you here tonight?" He asked, leaning in close to my ear and giving my senses the full effect of that cologne.

"Actually...I was hoping to meet you..." I said back, wanting to eat the words the minute they'd left my mouth.

He blushed slightly, and put one hand on the small of my back, pulling me closer to him...Ohhh sweet JESUS!

"Well, you met me!" He laughed, he must have noticed me blushing, because he finished with, "Don't worry about it! I'm honored that a beautiful girl like yourself would want to meet me."

I looked around for my friends, noticing that they weren't where they had been when I started to dance with Lance.

"Lookin' for the girls you came in with?" He asked into my ear. I nodded, and he pointed off behind us, "They're over there talking to Joey and JC."

I turned and looked in the direction he was pointing. And sure enough, there they were, dancing up a storm with their conquests.

Lance stopped dancing and pulled me in close to him, talking directly into my ear.

"Would you like a drink?" He asked, his deep voice sending chills through my body into my most sensitive areas.

I simply nodded, and allowed him to take my hand and lead me off the dance floor toward the bar.

Joey was all up on Lex like a starving man on an all you can eat buffet. Not that Lex was complaining, mind you.

He stepped up to her, his doe-brown eyes glimmering mischeviously and said, "Mmm...it should be illegal to look that damned good in public!"

Lex looked at him and twisted her face up in a look of mock pain, never one to fall for a pick-up line...no matter WHO had used it she said;

"Well, you might be sexy...and you might be famous...but you're sure as hell not original!"

Joey laughed, "I can see I got my work cut out for me with you, don't I?"

Lex nodded, "You better believe it."

"Well, it's a good thing I like to work." He said, "What is the fun of the chase, if you catch your prey right away?"

Lex groaned, "Cut the shit and dance with me, Fatone...I'm not even trying to hear your half-assed lines."

Paige sashayed her way up to where JC leaned against a wall, drinking an exotic looking drink. She made sure to put as much hip into her walk as humanly possible.

"Hi there," She said, pouting her lips just slightly.

JC turned his head toward her a bit and said, "Hello." Then looked back at the dance floor.

This might be harder than I thought...Paige thought to herself. She pulled her little black skirt a bit higher up her thigh and tried again.

"So...would you like to buy me a drink?" Paige asked, putting as much suggestion into the question as she could.

JC looked down at his cup, over at Paige, and then handed it to her.

"Gee...thanks...Maybe I can put this up for sale on e-bay!" Paige said, twisting her face up in a scowl. Then delivering JC an evil glare.

JC turned and set his cornflower blue eyes on her. A smile threatened to come to his lips.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked, placing his hands into his pockets in an almost nervous gesture.

Paige grinned, "Well, that was kind of my plan when I came up to you..." She said, giving him a huge smile.

He gave her a debonaire smile, and held out his hand.
