In this month’s issue of CCM Magazine, the spotlight shines on the emerging young pop artists on the Christian music scene. And like their general market counterparts ‘N Sync, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, the Internet has become an increasingly popular place for fans of bands like Plus One, Stacie Orrico, Rachael Lampa and ZOEGirl to connect and build a community with each other. So we at CCMmagazine.com decided to take a little diversion from our usual "Web Site of the Week" feature and provide you with the scoop on these artists’ official cyberhomes. Plus One: www.plusoneonline.com Of the four Web sites we’re reviewing, Plus One’s virtual digs are currently the most comprehensive and interactive. Its user-friendly design is simple and uncluttered, but the site receives its highest marks for a consistently updated news section, frequent contributions from the band’s fanbase and fun extras like downloadable wallpaper, fun facts about the group that pop up automatically on your screen (although these could stand to be updated) and an opportunity to join their fan club. And if you’re curious to see just how much of a frenzy this fivesome has caused, check out their chat room.
