Soundtrack for Left Behind: The Movie Arrives October 3rd

LEFT BEHIND: The Movie Soundtrack will precede the actual video in both the CBA and general market stores when it arrives the first week of October.
The Reunion Records soundtrack features songs from and inspired by LEFT BEHIND: The Movie. The film itself will kick off the two-wave campaign as the video arrives October 31st while the theatrical release will be February 2, 2001.
The soundtrack from the movie is a compilation disc of 15 songs from the industry’s top Christian recording artists. All but two songs on the project are new and recently recorded, and have yet to be released to radio or on other albums.
The soundtrack will include the movie theme song, instrumental tracks from the film, a multi-artist song and select cuts inspired by the movie including key artists, Plus One, Third Day, Avalon, LaRue, V*ENNA, Fred Hammond, Clay Crosse, Kathy Troccoli, Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James, Bob Carlisle, Jake, Bryan Duncan with SHINEmk, and Joy Williams.
The main theme song of the album which is in the closing credits of the movie is “Left Behind” sung by Bryan Duncan and Reunion new artist SHINEmk. The final cut on the album is a new multi-artist rendition of “Midnight Cry” including Bob Carlisle, Rebecca St. James, Jake, Jody McBrayer of Avalon, Helen Baylor, Rick Elias, Russ Lee, Darwin Hobbs and Joy Williams.
The soundtrack is an enhanced CD and will include the original 90-second movie trailer, behind the scenes footage, screensavers and wallpaper and the Plan of Salvation for unbelievers who may have been drawn to the music through the movie.

LEFT BEHIND: The Movie Soundtrack is unique in the way it has linked songs to key characters and themes in the movie. Fans of the multi-million selling book series will be thrilled to see select songs associated with characters such as Rayford, Bruce, Chloe, Hattie and Buck.
Five of the album songs are included in the Cloud Ten Pictures LEFT BEHIND: The Movie theatrical release and a few Christian artists on the soundtrack also had small parts in the feature film.
LEFT BEHIND: The Movie, was produced by Toronto-based Cloud Ten Pictures in association with Namesake Entertainment and filmed in Toronto, Canada. The movie is based on LEFT BEHIND, the apocalyptic thriller and New York Times best-selling novel series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.
