Chapter 28

“Hey guys.” Christin walked into Kevin’s living room and plopped down on the sofa.

“Christin, where is A.J.?” Kevin asked.

“Oh A.J. I shoot her in the chest and then found the nearest water and dumped him. I then ransacked his house and stole all the valuable stuff.” Christin joked.

“And now I have come back to life to haunt you for eternity. Haha.” A.J. walked in with the pizzas.

“Food.” Nick jumped up and took the boxes out of A.J.’s hand and set them down on the coffee table. He opened the boxes and grabbed a piece of it. The rest of the guys grabbed a piece too. Christin just sat them and watched them eat.

“Hey Chris , you gonna eat or what?” Kevin asked noticing her just sitting there watching them.

“Or what!” Christin laughed.

“Why? You gotta eat.” Howie said.

“It’s pizza. Thanks but no thanks. I think I will just pass for now.” Christin said.

“Don’t tell me you are one of those girls who have a perfect ten figure yet still think you are fat and watch very closely what you eat.” Brian made a weird face.

“No don’t worry. I don’t think I am fat and don’t really watch what I eat. The only thing I look for in food is meat. Got meat and I won’t eat it. I haven't eaten anything that used to have a face in seven years. Hopefully I can keep it that way forever.”

“You are a vegetarian.” Brain asked amazed. “Wow. That has got to take some serious determination. But is probably easier in the California. In Kentucky you have to eat red meat or they will eat you alive.”

“Duh. California is the most open place on earth. You will see stuff in Cali that you have never even dreamed of.” Christin told them.

“Well if you are a vegetarian then why didn’t you say anything when you heard me ordering the pizzas.” A.J. questioned.

“Well if you remember right I wasn’t exactly in the best state of mind. It went and one ear and out the other without a thought. I was trying to recover. Remember.” Christin remarked.

“Why? What happened?” Kevin asked worried.

“Nothing. I was just a little buzzed. And I know. It is only six in the evening but it is totally not my fault. I usually don’t even drink anything and until I am at a club or really pissed. It was A.J.’s fault.”

Everyone turned to A.J. “My fault. Why is it my fault?”

“You could have told me about the vodka. How many I should actually drink. You know?” Christin smiled.

“How was I supposed to know they were going to give you vodka?”

“Didn’t they give it to you for you’re first? I would think so.”

“No, I was already drunk.”

“Oh.”

“You’re first what?” Brian asked.

“Oh my god. You didn’t. Did you?” Howie asked figuring it out.

“Of course.” Christin commented confidently knowing Howie had figured it out.

“Didn’t do what?” Nick demanded to know.

“Where?” Howie jumped up excitingly.

“69.” A.J. answered for Christin knowing Howie would know what he was talking about.

“What?” Howie questioned.

“A sun. It is so cool. I think.” Christin remarked.

“Will someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?” Kevin yelled semi loud.

“Why, Kevin, are you sad cause you feel left out. Is that it? Do you want to be included?” Christin asked in a baby voice.

“Shut-up and tell me.” Kevin demanded.

Christin turned to A.J. and Howie. “Should I?”

“You better. He might get mad and decide to whoop up on us, well not all of us. Just me and Howie.” A.J. replied.

“Yeah.” Howie agreed.

“Ok. Me and A.J. didn’t just go to get food.”

“I figured that out.” Kevin cut in.

“Well he was supposed to if I did but he didn’t and I ended up getting a tattoo alone.” Christin emphasized looking at A.J.

“Hey it wasn’t my fau…”

“A tattoo. Where? Let me see. Please.” Nick cut A.J. off.

“Okay.” Christin stood up. She pulled her shirt up to take the bandage off. She gently began to peel the bandage off. “Wait.” She stopped all of a sudden. “I get to see it first.” She ran into the kitchen and up the back stairs. She dodged in the bathroom, slammed to door, and locked it. The guys were right on her tail though. “Okay.” Christin yelled though the door. “Since A.J. convinced me to get the tattoo and he hasn’t seen it. He gets to see it first.” She cracked the door do that only A.J. could get in. Christin lifted her shirt, exposing only her stomach. “What do you think?”

“It looks great. I like it. But who cares what I think. What do you think?”

“I like the design. I think it is great. But I don’t know. I just don’t think it fits me. It doesn’t belong on me.” Christin looked at it in the mirror.

“It looks great on you. Trust me.” He said still staring at a now very red Christin. He walked over a little to Christin. He leaned in to kiss her.

“Okay. Our turn.” Nick banged on the door interrupting the moment.

“Okay. Okay.” Christin opened the door snapping out of the mood of the moment. She couldn’t do this. She barely knew this guy. He was a client. NO. She told herself.

“It looks great Christin. Great place to put it by the way.” Nick said looking at Christin’s tattoo.

“What do you think Brain?” Christin turned towards him. Before he could answer though, they all heard a phone ringing. Everyone checked their phone but it wasn’t them. “Oh. I probably left my phone in one of the rooms when I changed out of my wet clothes. Wait one sec” Christin ran to a few rooms over while the rest of the guys made their way downstairs. She walked downstairs carrying her cell phone but it wasn’t ringing and she wasn’t talking on it.

“Was it you?” Howie asked.

“Yeah D.” She answered without looking up but with a worried look on her face.

“What’s wrong Chris?” Kevin asked.

“Nothing. I am going to go outside to make a phone call. Christin walked outside.
