Chapter 33
“Hello.” Christin said without even checking the caller ID.
“It’s great to talk to you too.” came a familiar voice over the phone.
“Amanda?” Christin questioned, rubbing her face.
“Don’t forget your dear ‘ol dad” a male voice said.
“DAD? Hold up a sec.” She said slowly.
“Okay.”
“Guys I’ll be right-” the door bell interrupted her *ding-dong*
“I’ll get it!” Brian and Nick both shouted while trying to run to the door.
“I’ll be upstairs.” Christin ran upstairs with the phone in her hands. She went into
the room that had her stuff in it, shut and locked the door. There was a bathroom
that connected to her room so she went in there.
“Ok, hello? You still there?” Christin asked while trying to get a towel to clean her
stomach up.
“Yeah what was that all about?” Amanda asked a little pissed.
“Am I on three-way?” Christin ignored Amandas question and asked her own.
“What if you are?” her father said, more of a statement than a question.
Christin had just found a towel and said “Ah-ha.” outloud.
“What?” her father, Neil, asked.
“Nothing daddy, can I call you back? I’m not feeling very good.”
“Yeah, sure, love ya, hope ya feel better.”
“I hope so too, bye-bye daddy.”
“Bye.” Neil hung up.
“Now what was that all about. And no bullshit answer.” Amanda said, getting really
pissed off.
“Wait, let me clean up and I’ll tell you.” Christin cleaned her stomach, found some
peroxide, and a bandage, She cleaned her tattoo real quick and covered it back up
with a bandage.
“Okay Manders.” Christin was really starting to feel the effects of the drink Nick
had given her.
“Partying?”
“I think so...no I know so.”
“See. I told you that you would make friends.”
“Yep. Five friends...well, atleast I think they are my friends.”
“You think?”
“No did I say that?”
“Girl, how much alcohol have you had? It takes alot to make you sound like this.”
Amanda started to get worried.
“Manders, I’m fine, I just had a few shots of tequilla, a few wine coolers, some Hot
Damn, a beer, and a drink that Nick gave me. Well, atleast thats all I can remember
drinking.”
“Well, what was in the drink that he gave you?” Amanda was really getting worried,
never had she heard Christin actually sound this drunk.
“I don’t know, it tasted like some chocolate milk.”
“Was it frozen?”
“Yeah. How’d ya know?”
“Because I drink them, and you don’t, they have vodka in them.”
“Oh....ok.”
“Where are you?”
“Manders you’re in San Francisco, I think I’m in Orlando.”
“That’s why your father and I were calling. We decided to pay you a surprise visit.
We’re in Orlando.”
“Oh, thats nice.”
“Where are you?”
“Kevins.”
“Who’s Kevin? Why aren’t you at your place?”
“They’re fumigating. Kevin is someone from work.”
“Well what’s the address?”
“I dunno, I’ll check” she looked outside to see the street sign. Kevin lived on a
corner.
“Savannah Street. It’s on a corner and has like five cars on the front. Why?”
“I’m coming to pick you up. You’ll stay with me tonight at the hotel.”
“Okie dokie.” Christin hung up with Amanda. She then left the bathroom, unlocked
the bedroom door and then laid down on the bed.
Meanwhile downstairs
Nick beat Brian to the door. He opened the door laughing and smiling. His smile
soon faded when he saw who was at the door. Brian ran up right behind him and
stopped smiling too.
“Lilia?” Nick and Brian asked together.
“Hey guys. AJ here?” Lilia asked as though nothing was wrong.
All Nick and Brian could do was shake their heads yes.
Lilia pushed them out of the way walked into the house.
“Who is it?” AJ yelled from the living room.
“It’s me baby, I need to talk to you.” Lilia replied in a flirtacious voice.
“Lilia?” AJ stopped and his jaw dropped to the floor.
“Yeah.” Lilia walked into the living room to find Kevin, Howie, and AJ with
shocked looks on their faces.
“What- What are you doing here?” AJ asked, still shocked.
“I need to talk to you in private. Can we go upstairs and talk? Please?”
“Yeah, I don’t know what we have to talk about, but ok.” AJ said, while heading
upstairs. Lilia followed him. They came to the first bedroom and walked in. The
lights were part way on, but you couldn’t see much unless you were right next to it,
or in their case, right next to each other.
“So what do you want to talk about?” AJ asked.
“AJ, baby, you know I still love you-”
“Cut the crap Lilia, why are you here?” AJ said annoyed.
“I’m pregnant.” Lilia blurted out.
“Pregnant? Thats impossible. I was always safe.” AJ said, keeping his cool.
“Well, AJ, being safe doesn’t always work.” Lilia retorted.
“You’re on the fucking pill. Those work. Don’t tell me they don’t.”
“AJ, I got sick, and the medicine the doctor prescribed didn’t mix with the birth
control pills, so he told me not to take them for a few days.”
“WHAT!?” This time AJ yelled.
Someone started moving and it wasn’t AJ or Lilia. “Whats going on?” came a
half-asleep/ half-drunk voice from the bed.
“Who the hell?” Lilia yelled.
