Chapter 39
“Are we finished yet?” AJ asked, zipping up the suitcase.
“Yeah. Christin wasn’t lying when she said she loved to shop. She didn’t even have half this when
she first got here. She even bought luggage.”
“She bought half this stuff within three weeks?” AJ looked at the bed which held six suitcases,
and three duffel bags.
“Yeah, almost as good of a shopper as you. Huh?”
“Well, when did she shop? She works doesn’t she?”
“Yeah, but she has an hour at lunch, and we usually went to the mall for lunch. And after she got
off of work, she made me show her around Orlando. One time we went to Disney World, just
cause she’s never been, and boy, did that bring back memories!”
“We? Disney World? Why?” AJ was getting really confused.
“Yeah, we went to Disney World cause she’s never been.”
“Okay. Well, are you bringing her bags to her or is she coming to get them?”
“I’m dropping them off at her apartment.”
“Well, what if she’s home? You might run into her, and I thought you weren’t supposed to see
each other.”
“You’re right. What do you suggest?”
AJ smiled. “Well, if you want me too, I could bring ‘em over.”
Kevin laughed. “You don’t know where she lives.”
AJ’s face grew serious. “You could tell me. You wouldn’t want to go there and upset Christin,
would you?”
“I guess you’re right.” Kevin grabbed a few bags and headed out of the room.
“Where ya going?” AJ yelled.
“To put this stuff in your car.” Kevin yelled back from the hallway.
“Oh, alright.” AJ grabbed as many bags as he could and followed Kevin.
After they put all the bags in AJ car, Kevin explained how to get to Christins apartment.
“Ok. Thanks.”
“Yeah. C-ya AJ.” AJ drove away in his Expedition, on the way to Christin.
