Chapter 45
Christin arrived at her fight gate an hour before her flight was supposed to leave.
She had already checked all her bags in at the front gate. At her flight gate,
there was a flight leaving for New York in thirty minutes.
Christin found a seat next to a man in a buisiness suit, reading a newspaper, and a
pretty hispanic girl digging through her purse. Neither the man nor the woman
even glanced up as she sat down. Christin picked up a few magazines from under her
seat and began to read.
Lilia had left AJ’s house and went straight to the airport and book the first flight
to New York. Now she was sitting at the gate waiting to board and looking for
Tic-Tacs in her purse. To make things, now this little hoe with a perfect body
wearing some short shorts and a top exposing her belly was sitting next to her.
Ah-ha, tic-tacs. She pulled the tic-tacs out of her purse and popped a few in her
mouth. Now she had come up with a plan concerning the baby she was carrying. She
glanced around to get a feel for her surroundings. When her eyes fell on the woman
sitting next to her, anger began to rise in her.
“Bitch!” Lilia said loudly.
Christin, who was just sitting there reading a magazine, quickly turned her head
towards the woman sitting next to her. “Excuse me?”
“You bitch.” Lilia said again.
“Do I know you?” Christin asked, confused.
“Maybe.”
“Okay.”
“You have no idea who I am do you?” Lilia asked really pissed.
“Honestly no.”
“I’m Lilia.”
“Lilia?” Christin asked, still having no idea who she was.
“Lilia Lopez. AJ’s girlfriend. No, wait, EX girlfriend. You know why I am his ex as of
today?”
“No. I didn’t even know AJ had a girlfriend.”
“Well, he did. And now, because of you, he dumped me.”
“Because of me? Excuse me? Have you ever considered that I don’t even like AJ,
and it might not be my fault? Maybe it’s yours. Maybe AJ got smart and realized
that he didn’t need a bitch of a girlfriend, and that he could do alot better.”
Christin concluded.
By this time there were alot of by-standers stopping and watching.
“Don’t talk to me like that, atleast I’m not a mother fuckin’ bitch who sleeps around
with other women’s men!” Lilia threw a punch and hit Christin in the jaw.
Christin didn’t take too kindly to that and threw a few punches, hitting Lilia in her
left eye and the other almost breaking her nose.
By that time, security was there pulling the two girls apart. Each were dragged
from that gate to the main security office.
The head security officer looked at both of the girls and asked, “What’s the
problem?”
“Her!” Lilia and Christin said at the same time.
“Well, since I’m not gonna get very far with this, where are you heading?”
“New York.” Lilia replied.
“San Francisco.” Christin answered.
“Well, I’m glad we aren’t putting you on the same flight.”
Another officer came in carrying Christin and Lilia’s stuff.
“What are your names?” the head officer asked.
“Christin Casey.”
“Lilia Lopez.”
“Well, Ms. Lopez, your flight is boarding, but before you leave, I need you to fill
out a few papers.” He handed her clipboard with papers and a pen. “Ans as for you
Ms. Casey, your flight has been cancled due to heavy fog in San Francisco. Fill
these out and you’re free to go.” He handed her another clipboard and pen.
“What about my luggage?” Christin asked.
“Well, when did you check it in?”
“Around seven twenty-five.” Christin answered.
“Then its already on its way to San Francisco. If you know someone in Cisco, you
might wanna have them pick it up for you.”
By then Lilia had finished filling out her form, she handed him her form, gathered
her stuff and left.
Christin filled out her form, handed it to the officer, grabbed her stuff and left
the main terminal. She arranged to leave tomorrow as she had originally planned.
Next, she pulled out her cell phone and called Amanda.
“Hello?” Amanda answered.
“Hey girl, what are you doing home? I thought I told you to go out and party!”
Christin joked.
“Yeah, like I’m really going out. Ha. Why aren’t you out partying? Your last night in
Orlando.”
“Well, I was planning on surprising you by coming in tonight, but my flight got
cancelled.”
“Oh, so what am I supposed to do?”
“Well, can you please, pretty please go pick up my bags at the airport? They got
sent ahead. Please? Pretty please?”
“Sure, its not like I have anything better to do.”
“Thank you. Oh, and bring your car. I have six suitcases and three duffel bags. all
of them have my name on them. C. Casey.”
“Nine bags?”
“I know. But I did alot of shopping. You know how it is.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m surprised you don’t have more. Well, I better get going. Bye.”
“Ta-la.” Christin hung up.
